Espectaculares, is a series of passerby postcards elaborated in Mexico. All images were taken from a car while driving on a roadtrip around Mexico. The images are of billboards for rent, alluding to an illusion of a grand advertisement of some paradise to visit, something grandiose to purchase, a delicious meal to consume, etc. Espectacular in spanish means spectacular and is the name given to large scale billboards in Mexico. Espectaculares is what could be and what is left behind from previous illusions of the market.
