Shared is a 13 channel video installation and NyK’s first solo show exhibited at Media Noche Gallery in NYC. Fuck is in the air and a series of synchronized video installations: Share I, Share II and Share III were exhibited. Share series were displayed within wooden boxes with a small viewing hole allowing one visitor at a time to view the piece emphasizing the intimacy between the work and the spectator. The Share Series all use the combined image of NyK’s bodies to become one mediated image.
Shared es una instalación de 13 canales de video y la primera exposición individual de NyK, presentado en el corazón de Harlem, en Media Noche Gallery, New York. En Shared, se exhibieron Fuck is in the Air y una serie de videos sincronizados llamados Share I, Share II y Share III. Share Series fueron exhibidas dentro de cajas suspendidas en el muro con un pequeño orificio por donde el publico observaba, enfatizando la intimidad entre el trabajo y el espectador. La serie Shared utiliza imágenes combinadas de ambos cuerpos de NyK para crear un nuevo cuerpo mediatizado por el video.
